PROJECT DELIVERY MODELS
STRAIGHT HIRE
This is the traditional way of contractual hiring and is typically based on a rate per item per week. In this model stock control is essential. We therefore deploy Pre-Form resources to your site to double-check all counting on site. We also require that, if possible, the customer send a representative to check returns in our yard.
On site, we evaluate equipment utilisation. If we believe that equipment is not fully utilised we will inform your site and arrange for returns. The Sale by Loss value of each piece of equipment is agreed before project commencement.
BASKET HIRE – SUPPLY ONLY
Basket hire models are based on a metre or square metre rate. With "supply only", material is supplied but erection is the responsibility of the main contractor.
Hire is charged monthly based on concrete poured, and not material used. All tender rates are agreed upfront. Pre-Form will also supply all other rates that might be relevant to the project. Further we will do detailed formwork layouts and will assist in the program planning to ensure the baseline program is met, or in most cases, beaten!
BASKET HIRE – SUPPLY AND ERECT
With Supply and Erect, Pre-Form takes responsibility for material and labour. This model provides a turnkey formwork solution in which the formwork program is managed on a daily bases by a Pre-Form site agent.
Hire is charged on the same basis as "supply only" but the rates include the labour component. This is the type of project where we get most involved in layouts planning and problem resolution, and we can add significant value to overall project delivery.
Being in formwork manufacture for close to 30 years and doing supply and erect projects for the last 10, we understand the demands on time and cost and have delivered time and again within those constraints.
