Pre-Form (Pty) Ltd is a 20% black-owned company committed to good governance practices, transparency and compliance with the Amended Construction Sector Code.
We are a Level Three Contributor and fully support the ideals of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (“BBBEE”).
Consequently, we apply the B-BBEE principles in its business operations targeting initiatives for Ownership, Management Control, Skills Development, Preferential Procurement and Supplier Development and Socio-Economic Development.
Ownership
20% black-ownership;
Accelerated the involvement of historically disadvantages people in operational, professional and executive decision-making;
Skills Development
We are committed to the development of the organisation as a whole. This is achieved through ongoing education, training and development of all employees;
Preferential Procurement
We have implemented a targeted procurement strategy geared to increasing procurement from suppliers who have more than 51% black ownership and more than 35% black women ownership;
45% of our total procurement for the last financial year has been spent on black businesses;
Our directive is to support, develop and mentor SMME’s, thus providing a solid springboard from which they can augment their capabilities, develop their businesses and successfully engage in the market;
Executed a structured supplier development programme as well as making supplier development contributions;
One of our initiatives was purchasing a company vehicle for one of its preferred subcontractors;
Early settlement payments are made to our subcontractors to assist with their cashflows;
Pre-Form assists some of its subcontractors to reduce their overheads by making purchases on their behalf;
Socio-Economic Development
Pre-Form is a firm believer in the statement “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER”. We have adopted a developmental and transformational approach to Socio-Economic Development;
One of our initiatives is a books programme. Also annual donations are also made to Communities with Limited Services
